Timer has expired!

For the citizen who wants to do more than watch

The 3-Day Grounded Citizen Intensive

You marched. You showed up. You felt it.

And then you drove home, turned on the news, and wondered what any of it actually changes.

That question has an answer.

This is where you find it.

Three days from audit to contribution strategy

The quiet thing nobody talks about after a protest

There is a moment that happens after every march, every rally, every surge of civic energy.

You drive home. You turn on the news. And the feeling that had lifted you — the solidarity, the purpose, the sense that something was possible — quietly drains away.

It's the most important moment in civic life. And we keep wasting it.

Not because we don't care. Because we care enormously and have nowhere to put it. You want to do more. You know you have something to contribute. But the path from "I showed up today" to "I am actually making a difference" is not clear, and nobody seems to be drawing that map.

So you wait for the next march.

And the cycle repeats.

The 3-Day Grounded Citizen Intensive was built to break that cycle.

In three focused days, you will move from personal stability audit to civic asset inventory to a contribution strategy that is specific to you — your skills, your time, your temperament, your life.

You will leave with a map. And a plan. Not a feeling that fades.

Three days. Three questions.
One clear path forward.

Day One: Where Am I?
We begin with honest ground. You will audit your own stability across the seven pillars of human resilience, share your findings in a small group, and identify the patterns that are costing you capacity. You cannot contribute from empty. Day One fills the tank.

Day Two: What Do I Have?
This is the session nobody else is offering. You will map your actual skills, available time, temperament, and limitations against what democratic restoration genuinely requires. The result is your Personal Civic Asset Map — a clear, specific inventory of what you bring.

Day Three: Where Do I Fit?
Your assets meet the landscape. You will build a personal contribution strategy, specific to your life, and read it aloud in a Witnessing Circle where every commitment is honored. You leave with a plan, an accountability partner, and an invitation to continue the work in the community.

Your deliverables at the end of three days:

Completed Seven Pillars Stability Audit
One daily stability practice committed for 30 days
Personal Civic Asset Map
Personal Contribution Strategy
Accountability partner from your cohort
Founding membership invitation to the Citizens in Practice Collective — first month free

About Kelli Nelson

I've spent over three decades studying what keeps human beings stable—and what happens when stability breaks down.

In 2024 a house fire brought me to the brink of homelessness. I rebuilt. And in that rebuilding came a clarity I hadn't had before.

I attended No Kings 2 in October 2025 and saw something I recognized immediately: the gap between activation and sustained action. Thousands of people, fully awake to what was happening, with nowhere to put it. The energy had no container. So it collapsed back into helplessness.

That gap is exactly what three decades of behavioral work prepared me to address.

We do not restore a nation through outrage. We restore it through alignment.

This cohort is small by design.

Eight participants. Three days. One clear path from activated to contributing.
The founding rate of $197 reflects the trust of being first. It will not be offered again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this intensive for?

It is for adults who are civically activated — who care deeply about what is happening in this country — but who don't know where their specific contribution fits. You don't need any particular background, political affiliation, or prior civic experience. You need a genuine desire to move from watching to doing.

What does the three days look like practically?

Each day runs from 11 AM to approximately 3 PM Pacific, with a morning session, afternoon session, and an optional evening integration practice. Sessions are held on Zoom. Recordings will be available for 48 hours if you need to miss a portion of a session.

Why only 8 participants?

Because the work is personal and the witnessing matters. A larger cohort would dilute both. Eight is the number that allows every voice to be heard and every contribution strategy to be witnessed by the full group.

What is the Citizens in Practice Collective?

It is the ongoing civic practice community that grows from this work. Founding intensive graduates receive their first month free. It is where the contribution strategy you build in the intensive gets practiced, refined, and witnessed on a weekly basis. More information will be shared on Day Three.

What is the founding rate and when does it end?

$197 is the founding rate for the first two cohorts only. It closes when this cohort is full or when registration closes on March 30. The rate increases to $297 for the next cohort and $497 at full price.

What if I can't attend all three days live?

The live experience is the intensive. The Witnessing Circle on Day Three in particular cannot be replicated in a recording. We encourage you to protect these three days before registering. If a genuine conflict arises, reach out directly and we will work something out.

Is this partisan?

No. The Grounded Citizen Initiative is explicitly non-partisan and pro-democracy. The framework draws on behavioral science, history, and civic philosophy — not political ideology. People across the political spectrum are welcome. The only prerequisite is a belief that democracy requires something from its citizens.

What if I'm not sure I have anything to contribute?

That doubt is exactly why this intensive exists. Most people who feel that way are not lacking in contribution — they are lacking in clarity about what their specific contribution looks like. The Personal Civic Asset Map on Day Two was built precisely for this. You will be surprised what you find when someone helps you look at your own life through the right lens.

You already know you want to do more.

You have known it since the last march. Since the last headline.

Since the last moment you felt the surge of purpose and watched it drain away before you could act on it.

This is where that changes.

Eight seats. Three days. One contribution strategy built specifically around your life.

The founding rate closes when this cohort is full.
